Peter is experienced in helping companies raise venture capital, mezzanine capital, later stage growth equity, secure bank and lease financing, complete acquisition due diligence and integration and provide support in their operations management and strategic planning. Peter is also experienced in implementing practices and procedures that enhance efficiency and strong internal controls. Over his financial career, Peter has worked in and with a broad array of investor-backed companies in the technology, telecom, real estate, financial services, manufacturing, and new media sectors. Peter has served as CFO/COO of several software companies and took Andover.NET public, was the CFO of a networking and communications company where he raised over $160 million in venture capital and grew the company from a start-up to 350 employees, was also a Partner in a boutique Investment Banking firm. He has over 12 years’ experience as the CFO of a private equity firm that invested in and actively operated companies in the manufacturing, medical device, IT and healthcare services sectors. In this role, Peter oversaw the financial and strategic planning operations for all portfolio companies.
Peter has in-depth, hands-on experience with all aspects of a company’s financial management including budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis; internal control policies and procedures; supply chain logistics and cost accounting; operational audits; FASB, GAAP and SEC financial reporting; revenue recognition; merger and acquisition due diligence and integration; financial system selection and implementation; as well as audit preparation and management.
Peter earned a BS degree in accounting from the University of Maryland and an MBA from George Washington University.
For over 20 years David was a practicing urologist, taking two separate solo practices and successfully growing them into large single-specialty group practices. Those experiences allowed him to develop strong problem solving and analytical skills while building and managing high growth companies. He was also responsible for creating, developing, and executing the marketing plan which was instrumental in making these group practices so successful. He gained significant experience in hospital and provider operations including claims, reimbursement, contracting, and network management. He also had significant exposure to many Phase 3 and Phase 4 clinical trials, (both open-label and randomized, double-blind studies) as a primary investigator, clinical coordinator, and a host study site. While he thoroughly enjoyed his career, an unfortunate motor vehicle accident forced him to pursue a career change as he was no longer able to perform surgical procedures.
In January 2013, he began working at a middle-market Mergers & Acquisitions Advisory firm, gaining significant experience in private equity,venture capital, and sell-side transactions. He then decided to enroll in Business School, and began to consult for a global orthopedic medical device company, where he worked independently and reported directly to the CEO. He was tasked with researching new product development and market entry, as well as developing new markets in the industry for existing products. In addition, he continues as a consultant and strategist to a startup web application software company, working directly with the CEO. He has helped in identifying potential strategic partners and business development opportunities, along with the oversight of the field sales team and development of the cross-functional leadership team. He was successful in finding and acquiring funding,documenting and communicating business intelligence to staff, along with setting priorities, meeting deadlines, and working under pressure to produce deliverables.
David earned a BS degree in psychology from the University of Illinois-Champaign/Urbana, an MD from Rush Medical College in Chicago, and a MBA from Columbia University in New York. David is a retired Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and was Board Certified by the American Board of Urology.
William has over 10 years of sales, management and consulting experience in the finance and technology sector across North America and China. He has a proven track record of driving revenue and profit growth, working with senior management to build and maintain customer relationships, and managing complex projects that involve third-party contractors. .
He is passionate about building strong investor relationships, identifying objectives and delivering solutions that exceed expectations. He has served as an advisor to various companies, directly involved in company growth and strategy formulation.
William earned a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from the University of Toronto and an MBA degree from Columbia University.
